Educational Qualifications:
Primary Teachers (Class I-V)
- The candidate should hold a degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a law-established university or from U.G.C. 5% relaxation in Degree will be given to ST/ SC/ PH/OBC/ Freedom Fighters and Diploma of two years from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)/ N.C.T.E
- Special B.T.C. training qualified degree from a law-established university or from U.G.C.
- Any Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)/ C.T. (Nursery) or 2 years B.T.C. from a law-established university or from U.G.C.
- Degree in 2 years B.T.C. Urdu Special Training in U.P. from a law-established university or from U.G.C.
- 4 years of (B.El.Ed.)
Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI-VIII)
- Degree with B.T.C. from a law-established university or from U.G.C. and N.C.T.E
- The candidate should hold a degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a law-established university or from U.G.C. OR (B.Ed)/ B.Ed Special Education degree from RCI
- Intermediate with 50% and B.Sc.Ed/ B.A/B.A.Ed of four years from N.C.T.E or from U.G.C.
- Degree with at least 45% marks from a law-established university or from U.G.C. 5% relaxation in Degree will be given to ST/ SC/ PH/OBC/ Freedom Fighters
- Intermediate with 50% and B.El.Ed of 4 years

UPTET 2021 Exam Pattern
150 Questions of Objective Type will be there in both Papers I and II. Each question will be of one mark. No negative marking will be there. The paper-II exam will be held offline
